Additive Metal Parts Design and Manufacture
Desktop Metal’s 3D metal printing systems reduce costs and significantly increases speed, safety, and print quality of metal 3D printing. Unlike traditional metal 3D printing processes, Desktop Metal’s process requires no hazardous powders, no lasers and no cutting tools to operate. Instead it uses Bound Metal Deposition, a proprietary process, to make accurate and repeatable parts, similar to the safest and most widely used 3D printing process for plastics, Fused Deposition Modeling. Morris CNC distributors have represented Desktop Metal since 2017. We have purchased and installed the Studio System at The Robert E. Morris Company in Windsor, Conn. for customer demos and work closely with Morris Group, Inc. additive manufacturing engineers and Desktop Metal product specialists to introduce this innovative and industry changing technology to our customer base.
